Who we are
Recon ("we", "us") provides a white-label website audit tool for marketing agencies at www.userecon.dev.
Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email, agency details, and password hash for users who sign up for an account.
- Audit submissions. URLs you submit for analysis, the resulting audit report, and metadata such as IP address and timestamp.
- Lead information.Contact details (typically name and email) submitted through an embedded audit widget on an agency's site, on behalf of that agency.
- Billing information. Processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Product analytics and diagnostics. Page views, feature use, and error traces collected via PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and Sentry.
How we use it
We use this information to deliver the audit service, send transactional and product emails, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small set of vendors who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (billing), Resend (email), Upstash (rate limiting), Anthropic (AI summaries), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (errors).
Data retention
Audits and leads are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us. Deleted accounts and their associated data are purged within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, and similar), you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us to exercise these rights.
